Bro. Tan Buck Soon
has a Bachelor of Engineering from University of Malaya. His interest in
Buddhism started after attending the Wat Pin Bang Onn Sunday School in Penang in
1972. He was the former President of the Methodist Boys' School Buddhist
Society, Publication Secretary of the University of Malaya Buddhist Society,
former President of the Buddhist Gem Fellowship and founder President of the
Bandar Utama Buddhist Society. He gives dhamma talks regularly at the
universities, colleges and other Buddhist organisations. He is currently the Hon
Secretary of the Bandar Utama Buddhist Society. He runs an Engineering
Consultancy Services bussiness.
