As an extension to the Metta Round the World initiative in Malaysia, Sambodhi is hosting Metta Bhavana on Aug 2, 2012 which is on a Full Moon night. You are invited to join this meritorious event.

  • Full Moon puja, including chanting of the Karaniya Metta Sutta 
  • Metta Meditation

Wooi Kheng Choo
Graduated from University of Malaya with M.Sc. in 1979 specializing in Plant Physiology and worked as a Plant Biotechnologist for multinational companies. Completed the Diploma in Buddhist Studies from Than Hsiang Buddhist Research Centre in 2001.
Taught Sunday Dhamma School in SJBA for 12 years.  Assisting Selangor Buddhist Vipassana Meditation Society in the publication of Dhamma books.

Buddhism & Feng Shui


The meditation course has just ended but Sambodhi continues to welcome you to meditate every Friday evening at the centre. It shall be opened from 8:30pm to 10:00pm for the purpose of meditation practice.

Bro. Charlie was the past President of the Buddhist  Society in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, a Committee member of the Buddhist Missionary Society and former President of Bandar Utama Buddhist Society. A qualified quantity surveyor, he also holds a LLB from the University of London and a Certificate in Legal Practice. He gives Dhamma talks regularly at universities, colleges, schools and Buddhist organisations.
