Generosity is the foundation, the place from which we begin the practice. 

Ajahn Cagino will be giving us the opportunity to practice generosity this Sunday at 9am (26 Aug 2012).

Puja shall start at around 9:30am followed by a Dhamma Talk entitled "The Good Family Life".

If you intend to participate in Dana, kindly serve vegetarian food only.

Bro Lee Jaik Chin has given Dhamma talks at Mudita, Ti-Ratana, and KCBA in Klang; Kinrara Metta and Ti-Ratana Lumbini Garden in Puchong, BGF, Sentul, BMSYS, UPM, and SJBA, etc.

He is the Past President and Zone Chairman of Subang Jaya Lions Club, former Head of BGF Counselling Unit for 2 terms and a fundraising committee member for the National Kidney Foundation Malaysia.

Free Revision Classes

Setia Alam Sambodhi Buddhist Association is organising a free-of-charge Intensive Revision Class (Biology) for Form 5 and Form 6 students. 

There are nine Biology sessions for SPM and STPM each.

Firstly, we welcome you to our Friday Insight Meditation Session tonight, 10 Aug 2012 at Sambodhi.

We should meditate regularly for our own well-being. While self-practice is essential, group practice is immensely helpful as we are inspired by our mentors and peers to continue putting in right effort. Come join us to experience the power of group meditation!

Charlie Chia Lui Meng 

Bro. Charlie was the past President of the Buddhist Society in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, a former Secretary General of the Buddhist Missionary Society and former President of Bandar Utama Buddhist Society. 

A Chartered Quantity Surveyor, he also holds a LLB from the University of London and a Certificate in Legal Practice. He regularly gives Dhamma talks at universities, colleges, schools and Buddhist organisations around the Country.

Vijaya Samawickrama

Mr Vijaya Samarawickrama (a.k.a. Uncle Vijaya) is an engaging and inspiring Dhamma speaker.  He graduated as a specialist in the Teaching of English as a Second Language from the Malayan Teachers' Training College in Liverpool, England and later on a B.A.(Hons) in English and Linguistics from the University of Malaya and an M.A. (Drama and Theater) from the University of Hawaii.

 Uncle Vijaya is a committee member of the Sasana Abhiwurdhi Wardhana Society and is also its former vice-president.

Uncle is also author to many Dhamma books, essays and discussions. He shares the gift of Dhamma by delivering talks and organising workshops and seminars in schools, colleges, universities and Buddhist organisations.
