Speaker's Profile.Dato’ Ang Choo Hong is a regular Dhamma speaker who gives Dhamma talks at various Buddhist temples/societies/universities throughout
Malaysia. He also presents papers at several international Buddhist conferences. Bro Ang is also actively involved in various Buddhist activities and he holds various positions in various Buddhist societies. He is currently the President of Malaysian Buddhist Research Society, Advisor of Buddhist Missionary Society Malaysia , Consultant to the Young Buddhist Association of Malaysia (YBAM) and Vice Chairman of Yayasan Belia Buddhist Malaysia (YBBM). In addition, Dato’ Ang is also the author of "Perspectives of Buddhism" , "Religious Life in Contemporary Society", "For the Love of Buddhism " and "Little Stories of a Great Monk". His latest book is “I Speak the Truth”.Dato’ Ang holds a B. Eng (Hon) degree from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, a Master of Science (Engineering ) degree from Universiti Malaysia and a Diploma in Management Science from National Institute of Public Administration. He works as a Director in the Public Works Department of Malaysia. He was conferred the distinguished titles of DSPN, JSD, KSD, PPT for his distinguished service to the nation.
